The Veiligvertoon plugin

In just a few moments, you comply with the legal European requirements and you can continue to grow your business worry-free, knowing that your customers are fully informed and protected.

What are we discussing?

Getting started with Veiligvertoon

After the plugin installation a new column called "Safety Information" will appear on your product management page. Here you can easily see which products have been provided with the necessary information and when this information was last edited.



Managing safety information

You manage the safety information of the products at the product level. Once the plugin is installed, you will find the "Veiligvertoon" tab under the "Product data" section on your product management page.



Scanning the safety sheet

Within this tab you can easily upload your supplier's Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) and the tool translates the contents of this sheet into the relevant and legally required information for consumer sales. If you do not have the MSDS, you can also configure the information manually.



After scanning the document, the tool automatically fills in the following fields. You can edit these fields if you wish. After the safety information has been entered, simply press "Save" and the information will be displayed on your website.



Managing the display

Under the "Veiligvertoon" > "Styling" section in the navigation menu, you will find all possible display settings. Here you can manage the display location, language, and formatting of the information on your site.

You can choose from three standard locations. In addition, it is also possible to use custom work to place the safety information at a location of your choice in the template of your webshop. Below you can compare the different options.
