In stores, this is done through safety information on the label according to CLP legislation.
For online sales, article 48 applies, which requires that consumers have the opportunity to view the product's hazards before checkout. Displaying safety information is done here using H statements, P statements, signal words, and GHS labels. Providing the supplier's safety data sheet with this information is not sufficient for sales to consumers.
